I work with a wonderful team of people trying to help kids with obesity. One of the things that we have realized is that many children (and adults for that matter) have no idea of the amazing variety of fruits and vegetables that exist. And, even if they do, they don’t know how to cook them.
It’s also really clear that no one can effectively lose weight or be truly healthy unless they eat 8-10 fruits and vegetables a day.
So, we had this idea…. What if we could find 1000 different fruits and vegetables and post them, one at a time, on a blog. So, here we are! We’ll keep a running list and do our best to report on our “scavenger hunt” one delicious post at a time!
